My licence is suspended. Can I still drive for work?

My licence is suspended. Can I still drive for work?

Possibly. In certain cases, a judge of the Court of Québec can order the SAAQ to issue you a restricted licence, which allows you to drive during the suspension when driving is necessary for your work (sections 118 to 125 of the Code de la sécurité routière).

Each application depends on the circumstances of the suspension. Our lawyers will determine whether you are eligible and prepare the application.

IMPORTANT: driving during a suspension without a restricted licence can result in the seizure of your vehicle.
